I refuse to watch the movies until I read them. lol! I was also refusing to read the Harry Potter series, but my husband convinced me to give them a try and I am now obsessed. lol! I love them all. I also really love The Hobbit. I did like Lord of the Rings ones a bit more, this one is always a nice quick fix. While I liked it ok, it's far from my favorite YA novel. Unpopular opinion, I know. :DRissihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11378400717440822186noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6004314704882000387.post-22218844851771425092017-03-20T21:10:21.598-07:002017-03-20T21:10:21.598-07:00I STILL feel that way about Harry Potter, I refuse...I STILL feel that way about Harry Potter, I refuse! In high school I worked at B. Dalton and that was when the series was into I think the third or fourth book. I tried to read the first one but gave up after six chapters. What really turned me off to them was the same kids would come in every weekend, asking if they're pre-ordered next-in-series had come in yet and I had to explain EVERY Saturday that no, it was not in yet. Someday I will give it a try again I suppose.

Also, good call on the Christopher Pike books! He was like an edgier RL Stine (though I devoured books quickly by both authors!)Sarah @ All The Book Blog Names Are Takenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12507006809241347635noreply@blogger.com
