In 1942 the first Little Golden books were published. There were only 12 but over the years well over 1200 different books have been published. A popular theme over the years are ones featuring the ABCs. Some covers for the same book changed with different editions. Here are a few classic covers that I came across and fell in love with. I had the Richard Scarry chipmunk book as a child. Did you have any of these?
