Review Policy

All books reviewed reflect my honest opinion. Unless otherwise stated I have spent my own money. All books provided by publisher/author will be honestly reviewed and I will state that it was provided to me for my review.

I am a slow reader so priority always goes to books that I already planned on reading or that I have personally requested. This does not mean that I do not accept review requests but that it may take me a while to get to your book. If you need it read by a certain time then I most likely am not the reviewer you want. The exception to this is picture books. I have a turnaround time of 1-2 weeks. 

This blog is intended to be for adults who love children's books. It is not meant for children though it can be viewed by children.

Cookbooks- I accept all cookbook requests. I prefer ebooks but will accept physical copies.

Children's books- I read mostly picture books and some chapter books/middle-grade. At this time I accept all requests for picture books and early reader chapter books. Some early chapter books and some picture books will be read and reviewed with my son. For children's books I equally accept both ebooks and physical copies.

Young Adult- I do not accept requests at this time for YA books. While I do occasionally read and review them I only read ones that I have already planned on. Sorry, this policy may change in the future.

Comic/manga/graphic novels- I occasionally review these types of books. I accept most requests for smaller sized comics/manga/graphic novels. I have a slower turnaround time for these books than most other books. I prefer ebooks but depending on the size of the book I may accept physical copies. 

I am indy friendly and in fact usually, prefer indy authors.
